1.1 Define the following concepts with the help of suitable examples.

(a)  Universe and Entity

(b)  Discipline and Subjects

(c)  Categories, Facets and Isolates

1.2  What are the different approaches adopted by users to search documents in a library ? Explain the role of library classification in meeting the subject approach of the users.

2.1 Enumerate the different species of library classification. Make a comparative study of the features of enumerative and faceted classification.
